    On Friday, December 9, the Lady Wolf Pups battled it out against Newcastle. The seventh grade team started out in an intense game, going point for point. The Wolf pups took a solid lead and by half-time, they were up by almost ten points. The seventh graders ended up defeating the Doggies 20-15. The girls played as a team and worked together very well. The girls have a good chance to do well at the upcoming districts. The eighth grade athletes had a bit of a tough match up against Newcastle, but they fought hard, playing very well as a team....

  • Wolves carry victory into holiday

    The junior high Lady Wolves faced the Hulett Red Devils last Tuesday, losing 8-11. Sixth grader Tallie Thomas stepped up and filled a starting role due to others being out sick and she played with such heart and hustle the entire time she was in. The eighth grade did not have any games last week because Hulett does not have the numbers and the Thursday game was postponed to a later date that has not been determined yet. Monday, November 21, the Moorcroft Wolves faced the Upton Bobcats at home. There was a sixth, seventh and eighth grade game...

  • Junior high girls stand strong against Bulldogs

    Tuesday, November 8, the Lady Wolves took on the Sundance Lady Bulldogs in a district junior high matchup at home. The games started with a half game for the sixth graders and the team was victorious in this game, defeating the Bulldogs 14-8. Following this match-up, the seventh grade Wolves fought to defeat the bulldogs, but fell short, losing by only one point. The score was 12-13. Continuing the fight, the eighth grade Lady Wolves rose to the challenge and defeated the Bulldogs, 25-24, winning the game on a made free throw by Kimber...
