    The Wolves Boys Basketball team had a full weekend of games with Newcastle on Friday and Big Horn on Saturday. The Junior Varsity set the tone Friday night with a nice win over the Newcastle Dogies, getting a little revenge from their previous meeting. All players contributed to the win with great effort on both sides of the court. The varsity played four quality quarters and had great contributions from the bench to cap off a nine-point win.     The Wolves Boys basketball had two great contests this past weekend with Newcastle on Friday and Glenrock on Saturday. The boys JV came out a little slow against Newcastle, but made some gains in the second half, though not enough to pull out the victory. All of this is a learning experience for them and will be all year, but the gains I have seen are amazing.     The Wolves Boys Basketball team ran up against very good competition this past weekend and earned their fourth place finish in the West River Tournament. We have a solid rotation that allows for players to be moved around to bring success to many different areas of the court and leaders in all grades who push the competition in practice; these leaders have been asked to step it up even more.     The boys played four great games against opponents they would not usually see during the season as they took on Arvada, Southeast, Lingle and Douglas. The boys beat Arvada the first night, then came up short in the other three games, against very good opponents. This team is made up of a number of players who have years of experience and some with very little, but they all have great work ethic and no quit.
