    Grace Moore|Feb 7, 2019

The 52,861 square foot Moorcroft Town Center (MTC) building was attained by the Moorcroft Town Council in September of 2016 and met with mixed feelings about the fiscal feasibility of the proposed repurposing by the public. After two years, this controversial entity is, with the concentrated efforts of volunteers, slowly growing into the communal asset first envisioned by the governing body. The volunteers who are working for the advancement of the Moorcroft Town Council (MTC) this year include...

  • Fire crew in need of new equipment

    Grace Moore|Feb 7, 2019

Anyone who has ever been assisted by the Moorcroft Volunteer Fire Department knows they can be sure that the firefighters who show up are good at what they do. • Letter to the editor

    Feb 7, 2019

Dear Editor, I am writing to you regarding two important issues that the state of Wyoming is dealing with: the legalization of marijuana, and special rights for the homosexual/transgender group. First, the legalization of marijuana is being nefariously disguised as an agricultural opportunity to cultivate hemp. It is all cannabis containing THC. The Crook County and Wyoming State Farm Bureau Federations have affirmed resolutions against it. Additionally, the Crook County and Wyoming Republican Parties are also against it. The drug/crime...

  • Lady Wolves whip Tigers
