    Ag teacher and FFA advisor Hugh Jenkins approached the Moorcroft Town Council to ask for a variance to build a barn to house livestock at Monday night’s meeting.     The window to secure federal funding that could be used to improve access to high-speed broadband across Crook County won’t be open for very long, said Russ Elliott of the Wyoming Broadband Advisory Committee (WBAC) last week. Elliott urged the county commission to work quickly to gather data about service levels across the county and determine where help might most be needed.     The MTC board was asked to communicate more directly with the town during the Moorcroft Council meeting Monday night. The board is currently installing washer/dryer units in the janitor's room; however, the room will need electrical work and an opening for ventilation of the dryer.     The Pine Haven Town Council spoke with HDR Engineering's Heath Turbiville on Monday afternoon about the town's plan to install a bike/walking path within the next couple of years.     The Wolves wrestling team traveled to Saratoga this past weekend to wrestle in the Carbon County Invite, where they met up with 17 other schools from across Wyoming in search of what their competition will be in two weeks at the High School state tournament.     On Friday night, the Lady Wolves hosted the Rams from Big Horn. The Wolves got off to a slow start and found themselves down 42-26 at the half. Big Horn shot it well in the first half and our defense wasn’t where it needed to be. The Wolves came out strong in the third quarter behind a 19 point while holding the Rams to just seven points.
