    People have been laid to rest in the Moorcroft Cemetery since 1904 with the burial of Diamond Joe Thompson. With ever-increasing numbers of family and friends taking their places within this ten-acre allotment since then, the available plots are getting limited.     Sherry Ann H. White, 79, passed away peacefully in her sleep and went to rest with the Lord on Saturday afternoon, April 30, 2022, at the Fountain Springs Healthcare in Rapid City, South Dakota. She was a Wyoming cowgirl through and through. She grew up in a very loving family, the Dillavous, just outside of Aladdin, Wyoming, on a small dairy farm. She lived her early years in a number of different areas as her father was in the Air Force. In the mid 1950s, the family moved to Rapid City, South Dakota, where Colonel March was stationed. Karen was able to stay in Rapid City from fourth grade through college as her father was promoted, but always at Ellsworth Air Force Base.
