    In December of 2017, Jodi Clark and her partner, Wayne Altaffer, came across the tracks of a young male cougar on the Altaffer ranch north of Moorcroft. Jodi and Wayne keep their license to hunt cats active so that they can hunt if the cats come too close to the ranchlands. "They kill deer and livestock," explains Jodi. Wayne found the cave in which the 140-pound two-year-old had made his den a day after they killed the cat. Jodi subsequently sent the body to a taxidermist in Buffalo, WY to be preserved.     As Rosalie Brimmer lays flowers on the grave of a school teacher she used to know back in the 1980s, she talks about the good memories that she revisits when she visits the graves of old friends and the peace and comfort she receives when she visits family at the Moorcroft cemetery.
