    Last Tuesday morning began a perfect sunny day for the annual Northeast Wyoming Walleye Association's Kids' Education Day at Coulter Bay on the Keyhole Reservoir.     Beloved grandmother, wonderful mother, dear sister and friend to many, Diane Marie Huven, 74 of Moorcroft, Wyoming, passed from this life into eternity on May 17, 2022. Those she left behind will miss her so very much. Yet in our sorrow, we find joy in God’s promises. Diane was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on September 5, 1947 and as a little girl moved to Monico, Wisconsin. Wace was the youngest of four kids, having three older sisters to pick on (Ivy Burks of Mississippi, Kate (Blake) Conner of Isabel, South Dakota and Kara (Morgan) Uhrig of Gillette, Wyoming). His nieces and nephews include Craig and Lexi Burks, Kade and Curtis Conner and Brooklyn Uhrig. He is survived by his grandmothers Shirley Anderson and Char Carter.     The winter dead has been cleared and paths mowed and maintained at the community gardens on South Little Horn Avenue immediately south of the Moorcroft Town Center by volunteers who refer to themselves as garden gnomes.     A draft of the proposed new rules for large acreage subdivisions has been made available ahead of a public hearing with the Crook County Land Use Planning and Zoning Commission.     The majority of Wyoming residents feel our schools don’t prepare children for the future, according to Governor Mark Gordon’s education advisory group. A public survey that garnered over 7000 responses – including 326 from Crook County – saw 59% of people answer “no” to the question.
