    A grass fire started in the barrow ditch along McKean Road east of Pine Haven Monday morning. Two engines and six fire fighters from Pine Haven and Moorcroft responded to the call. Pine Haven Fire Chief Don Lancaster later reported the flame as man-caused. The crew worked on drowning the edges, stopping the spread and keeping the burn contained to approximately a quarter acre, leaving the site only after more than an hour ensuring the area was entirely free of flame and ember.     Recently, Moorcroft Area Chamber of Commerce President Neal Gray asked the Moorcroft Town Council permission to establish a beer garden during Jubilee, selling only malt beverages under a one-day state permit.     Moorcroft Mayor Dick Claar will conduct a walk through the municipal landfill Wednesday with a state inspector to determine the current health and future of the enterprise.     Former Gillette man sentenced on game violations dating to 2003 GILLETTE (WNE) — A former Gillette resident must serve two months in jail and pay more than $50,000 in fines and restitution for big game violations dating back to 2003.
