    Tourists and locals alike flocked to Moorcroft’s 56th Jubilee over the weekend, filling every event with fun. Forty teams played in both the volleyball and cornhole tournaments and it was very much standing room only at the ranch rodeo.     Betty Bernice (Hedger) Nicholson was born March 15, 1930, to Santford Lee and Doris Muriel (Page) Hedger, in Piniele, Montana. She departed this life to enter her eternal Heavenly home on July 6, 2021, at the age of 91 years. Betty was united in marriage to W.     CASPER — Former Fremont County Coroner Mark Stratmoen has alleged that the Wyoming Department of Health has changed and issued inaccurate death certificates in the last several months. Citing confidentiality, Stratmoen did not give any specific examples of the changes he alleges, but said changes have been made to a minority of certificates checked by his office.     A while back, Emily Smith and husband Bill, who serve on the Pine Haven Town Council and Over The Hill Gang (senior group) committee board respectively, approached the “Gang” with an offer to donate a black powder rifle and pistol to be raffled off.     The town of Moorcroft hosted a public meeting last Wednesday for residents to voice their opinions on how the town is being managed and what areas they think need more attention, etc. This survey is being conducted by DownTown Redevelopment Services under the auspices of Rural Community Consulting.     At Monday night’s meeting of Moorcroft’s council, the town’s policy regarding water and sewer deposits was discussed after an individual had previously requested a waiver of said deposit for a rental property they had recently purchased. After consideration, Councilman Dale Petersen suggested the deposit be paid as per ordinance with the understanding that, with no missed or late payments, the responsible party may retrieve the money after 12 months.     One June 28, police spoke with a young man riding his dirt bike around town. Officer advised him he was not to operate the dirt bike within the town limits on the roadway or on the walking paths.
