Pine Haven has officially joined Crook County in issuing an open fire ban, effective July 22. Moorcroft has not issued any municipal prohibition. Thelma Dexter, 87, of Gillette died July 10, 2022 at her home of natural causes. Thelma May, was born May 13, 1935, the daughter of James and Helen (Likewise) McCue in Gillette.
