    A tornado touched down last Tuesday evening during a heavy storm west of Moorcroft. Located outside populated areas, it did little damage and no injuries have been reported.     Fair Week kicked off on Sunday with the horse show at the arena, as kids spent two days displaying their prowess with horsemanship, reining, ranch riding and much more. The fair officially kicked off the next day with an ice cream social in the shade structure, shortly before the ranch horse competition.     Josh Fish of RT Connect addressed the council at Monday’s meeting to ascertain the criteria for building on the three and a half lots north of the West Texas Trail Museum that has been owned by the town and for sale for several years.     Earl Barry Dennis, 54, of rural Crook County passed away of natural causes at the Dennis Ranch west of New Haven on July 17, 2019. Earl was born March 12, 1965 in Belle Fourche, South Dakota to Raymond Lewis and Daisy Blakeman Dennis. He went to grade school at the Homestake School and high school in Hulett, Wyoming.
