    During last week's town council meeting, Public Works Director Scott Green informed the council that a fire occurred in the early morning of Saturday, November 9 at the Moorcroft Town Center. According to Green, "The previous morning, the auger for boiler 2 broke." This auger moves coal from the storage bin to the boiler.     At last Wednesday's meeting, Councilman Dale Petersen brought up an ongoing issue regarding parking on snow routes when there is no snow. According to Petersen, "I don't like the idea that we're closing all the streets down...when there is no snow forecasted for weeks."     A Moorcroft man has been charged with strangulation after allegedly grabbing a victim by the neck during an argument. On November 10 at around noon, a Crook County Sheriff’s Office deputy was called to a domestic dispute in Moorcroft. The reporting party claimed that they had received a text message from a sibling stating that Jeffrey Dowling had strangled them and said he wanted them dead.
