    Wyoming Business Council northeast regional director Brandi Harlow spoke to the town governing body recently regarding a grant available within the next fiscal year for a business readiness study on the MTC building. This $25,000 grant must be matched at 25 percent ($6250) by the town.     The county’s year-long study to find a solution for water issues in the area around Carlile is now well underway, the county commissioners heard last week. Landowner surveys have been sent out and collected and well sampling has taken place across the study area.     Public Service Commission approves expansion of Corriedale wind project CHEYENNE (WNE) – The Wyoming Public Service Commission Thursday approved an expansion of the planned Corriedale Wind Energy Project to include an additional five wind turbines. The application for the wind farm, submitted by Black Hills Power and its subsidiary, Cheyenne Light, Fuel and Power Company (aka Black Hills Energy), was initially approved in July.     There were more Nativity sets on display this year than at any of the three previous collections, said Pastor Monte Reichenberg, member of the Moorcroft Interfaith Community, who sponsored the event.     During the month of November, the Pantry served 212 people. This included six new clients, 81 under the age of 18 and 55 over the age of 60. Items needed this month include cereal, jelly and soup. These items may be dropped off in donation boxes at the Crook County Library, 414 E Main St, or in the lobby of the school district’s Central Administration Offices at 122 Hwy 585, in Sundance.     Last Friday afternoon, around 2 p.m. a Moorcroft woman was driving a 2004 silver colored Ford Expedition, with two passengers, another adult and a juvenile, westbound on I90 on dry roads and in good weather, according to Lieutenant Tim Boumeester, Wyoming Highway Patrol. We have a good group of girls who are focused, want to be here and put the team before themselves.
