Many donated items were auctioned for the cause.
A benefit for the Jones family, who lost their home recently to a fire, was attended by more than 100 guests at Dewey's Place last Friday. The occasion was brought together by several individuals and with many donated items for the auction and a tasty meal provided by Dewey's, the event shined a fine light on the generosity of neighbors in a family's time of need.
