Justin Merle Johnson

Justin Merle Johnson was born January 17, 1974, to Larry and Vana Johnson. He was the youngest of three sons. The family moved to Hulett, Wyoming, in 1978 where Justin attended school from kindergarten through 10th grade. He went on to graduate from the Casper Youth Center in 1992.

Justin moved to Rock Springs, Wyoming, to work and that is where he met Sunny Tallon. Their son, Jeremiah Richard was born in February of 1994. Justin and Sunny were married in November of 1994.

The young family moved to Las Vegas shortly after in pursuit of work and they lived there for several years where Justin worked in construction. Their daughter, Katie Rae was born in September of 1999.

Justin and Sunny were divorced in 2001. As a single father, he moved to Elko, Nevada, to be closer to family, who supported his efforts to raise the kids. In 2005, Justin moved his family back to Hulett, where he lived and worked construction until the time of his death.
