Old Settlers’ Picnic this weekend

Ted and Betty Wilson, along with Mae Neiman and Mary Barbour are the honorees at the annual Old Settler’s Picnic to be held this Sunday, June 23 at Devils Tower National Monument. Monument entry fees will be waived for the event which kicks off with coffee and rolls from 9:30-10 a.m. and a church service provided by Oshoto Community Bible Church from 10-11 a.m.

The picnic begins at 12:30 p.m. at the picnic shelter and will feature a live musical performance by Buffalo Bill Boycott and Dr. Jo along with stories in traditional Native American Indian sign language, cowboy poetry and yodeling.

All are invited to bring a picnic lunch, beverage and lawn chairs and come enjoy “a good, old-fashioned visit” with friends and neighbors.
