Restroom facilities at Moorcroft rest area temporarily closed

The restrooms at the Moorcroft Rest Area have been closed down for an indeterminate amount of time due to a sewer line breach at the lift station.

Although the permanent facilities are not available to the traveling public, the rest area remains open. Port-a-potties and hand washing stations have been placed on site. This includes a handicap facility as well.

City of Moorcroft and WYDOT personnel are investigating the conditions and will determine the best mitigation and repair schedule to resolve the issue.
