Residents of Cheyenne and Powder River Avenues watched E&S Services over the last couple of weeks moving the gas lines from the alley between the two avenues to the front of their homes in anticipation of the Powder River Sewer Project that started Monday (above). Hot Iron Inc is handling the job (below) and the project will take about 60 days, replacing the out-of-date sewer line from Converse (behind Cozy Motel) north to Park, according to Public Works Director Cory Allison. He assures citizens that there are no anticipated interruptions to services as this project is completed. Hot Iron will be offering residents the option of placing new private sewer line after the project is complete.
