Lady Wolves win eight matches straight

The Lady Wolves had another successful week on the volleyball court. The Moorcroft Lady Wolves are on a winning streak, coming out victorious from the last eight matches in a row – and the last three matches have been sweeps.

Last Tuesday, we traveled to Upton and got the sweep on the road, winning the match (25-23, 25-22, 25-12). Against Upton, Char Cranston had ten kills; Alyssa Merchen had five; and Kailee Gill had 17 assists. The JV team lost in three sets to Upton.

For our Homecoming match, we faced Lusk and again got the sweep in three sets, winning (25-9, 26-24, 25-20). The JV teams also both won against Lusk.

Against Lusk, Teagan Timberman and Talissa Fischbach both had four aces; Char Cranston had ten kills in the match; Camlyn Connally had six; and Lizzie Peterson had the match, winning kill in the middle.

We have been working very hard in practice on our offense and our results are showing in games. Our JV and Varsity work closely together in practice to push each other every day to continue to make us a competitive team.

I am very proud of our results so far this season and am looking forward to see our continued success and efforts as a team.
