Wolves Cross Country team keeps up the pace in Hulett

On Friday October 18, the Wolves traveled to Hulett for the 1A/2A Northeast Cross Country Conference and Junior High District Meets.

In the Junior High Girls District 3,000 Meter Event, Mallory Jones earned second place with the time of 11:16.89; Joslynn VonOlnhausen placed 11th with the time of 13:59.75; and Myndy Heringer placed 15th with the time of 17:30.90.

In the High School Conference races, Hailey Jones won the 5000 meter race and earned first place with the time of 20:17.12 in impressive fashion. Hailey also set a new course record, beating the record she set last year herself.  Katelynn Blakeman earned fourth place, making her finish a very impressive fight to keep her position.

The Lady Wolves have made great strides in running their events and have improved steadily as the season has progressed.  We will bring the season to a close next week in Afton. On Saturday October 26, Hailey and Katelynn will represent the Wolves in Afton at the State Cross Country Championships.
