Moorcroft Police Report

October 28 - November 3

On October 28, police were contacted to assist an elderly gentleman who had fallen down onto the ground and couldn’t get back up. Officer arrived at the residence and helped the man back up and onto his couch. No injuries seen or reported. Officer cleared.

On October 29, police were requested to do a welfare check on a local resident. Officer arrived at the residence and spoke with the man in question. The subject was showing numerous signs of paranoia and schizophrenia and officer took them into custody for a mental health evaluation. Officer transported the subject to Campbell County Memorial Hospital for evaluation.

On October 31, officer assisted Moorcroft Ambulance Service on an emergency call.

Stats: Six traffic warnings, one fingerprinting, nine crosswalk/school zone, 15 business checks, one assist to other agency, eight extra patrol, one public service, one welfare check, eight garbage can violations
