Accident on I-90 caused by driver falling asleep

Last Friday afternoon, around 2 p.m. a Moorcroft woman was driving a 2004 silver colored Ford Expedition, with two passengers, another adult and a juvenile, westbound on I90 on dry roads and in good weather, according to Lieutenant Tim Boumeester, Wyoming Highway Patrol.

As the SUV traveled west of Pine Ridge overpass, near mile marker 164, the vehicle left the roadway and onto the median side shoulder, at which point the driver overcorrected her steering, causing the car to enter into a clockwise rotation.
