The Moorcroft Wolves basketball team will be returning strong this season with ten players from last year’s roster including all five starters: seniors Christian Robinson and Payton Timberman; juniors Caden Connally, Lane Wood, Tatum Semlek, Gavin Bohanon, Daniel Bryant, Kaiden Blakeman and Clay Stripp; and sophomores Zane Linder and Zach Hall.
New to the team are freshmen Evan Jones, Cole Stripp, Kyler Smith, Payton Hippen and Dane Connally. The biggest strength for the Wolves this upcoming season will be the returning ten players from last year and adding in the new players.
The team had a great off season where they participated in four team camps, getting in a lot of games. They also had two skilled camps hosted by Pure Intensity basketball and ND42 mental toughness, both were held in Moorcroft.
The Wolves will need to play their style of basketball, which is going to be defensive orientated, being hard nose defenders each and every night they play. The coaches believe that, if this is done, it will give the players a good chance to be successful.
