Deidre Jean Murphey, of Mesa, Arizona, passed away in her family home on December 16, 2019 at the age of 52.
Deidre was born to Jerry and Beverly Hagemeier in Vincennes, Indiana on July 14, 1967. When she was a child, her family relocated to Moorcroft, Wyoming where she grew up.
Deidre met her husband and they married while in high school. After graduating high school and having their son in Wyoming, the family moved to Mesa, Arizona where soon after they had their daughter.
Deidre began her long-standing career in office administration and management in the aerospace industry when her children were young. While working full time, she also made time to study and get her real estate license.
Deidre was a kind-hearted woman who was there to support everyone around her. She was a spitfire woman who always told you how she felt whether you wanted to hear it or not.
She knew how to make everyone around her have fun and enjoy themselves, even in tough times. Becoming a wife and mother young, she proved to everyone that she could do anything she put her mind to by moving and starting fresh in a new place.
Deidre and her husband built a strong family home and life. She taught so much to all about how to love hard, hold your head up high, to be strong and proud. She was an amazing wife, mother and the best grandma.
Her grandparents Herb & Bonnie Hagemeier, Opal Mundy, Geneva & Al Overall, and her Uncle Harold Hagemeier preceded Deidre in death. Deidre is survived by her husband, Richard Murphey, their two children, Derrik Murphey and Ashley Cartwright, her parents, Jerry and Beverly (Mundy) Hagemeier, sister Dana (Steve) Blakeman and two grandchildren, Alexander and Isabella, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, uncles and aunts.
