Beauty Lou and the Country Beast performance

Audiences of all ages will get a fresh look at an old favorite this Saturday January 18 when the Missoula Children’s Theatre (MCT) and more than 26 local students present BEAUTY LOU AND THE COUNTRY BEAST.

Featured as Beauty Lou will be Faith Anderson (older) and Hollie Hawk (younger). The Older Daughters and Younger Daughters will be played by Amasa Gerstner, Sara Bray, Angel Zahn, Tapanga French, Gracie Lara, Krizma Delfino, Avenlee Downey, Crimson Cook, KyAnne Karrels, Pyper Humpal, Tylla Gerry and Bristol Hannah.

Imaginary Friend will be played by Tanna Timberman. Beast will be played by Donald Donner.

Dusty and Slim the helpful farmhands will be played by Patti Donner and Nadia Harding. Faithful friend Fleabite Clyde, the dog, will be played by Natalie Peters.

Hoping to win enough money to save the family farm, Buck sets off for the rodeo and is joined by the rest of the Country Folk (Kendyll Gerry, Lane Huether and Lila Jacobson) and Barnyard Critters (Gavin Laatsch, Macy Bartell, Brooklyn Albertson and Ellen Wood). Several adults have served as back stage hands throughout the week.

The Missoula Children’s Theatre residency in Moorcroft is presented locally by Moorcroft K8 Parent Advisory. For more information, call Angie Peters at 307-756-2632 or Allison VerBurg at 307-756-2197
