Wolves split home conference games

With conference play making its way to Moorcroft, the Wolves took on the Big Horn Rams and the Wright Panthers.

Friday night, the Wolves played host to the Rams from Big Horn. This would turn out to be another good battle for the Wolves. They would keep the top ranked Rams on their heels for the entire game.

The Wolves battled in the first half going into halftime only down three points. The Rams caught fire and got an eight point lead at the end of three and would continue the hot shooting streak to best the Wolves, 55-40.

Saturday, the Wolves would host the Panthers of Wright. This proved to see the Wolves catch fire early and often. The Wolves would put up their best numbers of first and second quarter, leading the Panthers, 24 to 5 at the end of one and at the end of two, 49 to 14.

With the big lead, the Wolves got the clock to continue to run, winning the game against the Panthers, 65 to 34.

The Wolves will host the Bulldogs from Sundance this Friday. The games will be as set JV Girls 2:30 p.m., JV Boys 4, Girls 5:30 and Boys 7. Come out and support your Wolves and Lady Wolves.
