Earl Jespersen Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship was established by the family of Earl. He was a hard working rancher, who attended the University of Wyoming on a scholarship and saw a need for higher education. A golf tournament will be held at Keyhole Country Club to keep this scholarship going. It is ag related and offered in Upton and Moorcroft because he worked in both communities.

Hailey Jones, daughter of Clinton and Amy Jones, will be receiving one of the scholarships. She will be attending the University of Wyoming, to become a physical therapist.

Her activities include cross country track and FFA, helping in many service projects. She has participated in many community and church projects, which include planting flowers, cleaning cemeteries, to painting railings, to baking cookies.

Kendra Timberman is the daughter of Corbin and Trisha Timberman of Upton. Kendra is planning on attending the University of Wyoming this fall to earn a degree in Biology to help her achieve her goal of Doctor of Medicine.

Kendra has participated in many activities throughout her high school career, they include National Honor Society, Student Council, FFA and various sports.

Education is a priority in her life, and choosing the medial field is to help others, including members of her family dealing with chronic illness.
