Horseshoe pits at the MTC

Early Tuesday morning, John and Tracy Jones began the job of placing two sets of horseshoe pits in the south yard of the MTC.

The installment of the game pits was approved by the town council at a previous meeting to offer the entire community a chance to get out and enjoy a stimulating game with friends or just quiet time practicing their throw.

The game site will be open to the public as soon as it is finished. Anyone who wants to utilize the horseshoe pits is welcome to call Mary Joselyn at 756-9550.
