PINE HAVEN DAYS

This year, the Pine Haven Days Parade started with long time resident and chairperson of the ordinance committee for the town Chris Bingham as Grand Marshal, closely followed by Mayor John Cook.

Misha Sitter took over the presidency of the Pine Haven Recreation Board and put the parade together last week; she later reported, “The Parade was a great success. We had over 30 entries this year!”

“With the theme being ‘Who’s your hero?’,” Sitter said, “We saw many different ways people interpreted that. Vehicles [were] decorated honoring EMTs, dispatchers, military, police officers, firefighters and so many more. It was so heartwarming to see everyone coming together.”
