Clarifications

In the article “Town applies for…” on the front page of last week’s Moorcroft Leader, under “Officer injured”, the last sentence mentions that, if needed later, assistance for Moorcroft Police Department will be sought from the Crook County Sheriff’s Department.

Moorcroft Chief of Police Bill Bryant would like to clarify that the help would be in the form of the police department hiring off-duty deputies to work for the municipality part time, “So it’s not actually related to the sheriff’s department.”...
