State grant approved for Moorcroft

The Town of Moorcroft has been approved for a $203,000 grant from the State Land and Investment Board (SLIB) under the CARES Act. These funds will be delivered into the town’s general funds account as reimbursement for wages paid to clerks and police during the pandemic.
Though the money is not restricted for particular issues, the municipality has reserved $4000 to cover laptop computers and any other equipment needed for office personnel to work from home when necessary.
