Christmas Baskets project begins

The Moorcroft Chamber of Commerce is once again gearing up for their annual Christmas Basket project. This is a worthwhile project that helps the less fortunate members of the community during the holiday season.

In past years, the chamber have put together anywhere from 40-50 baskets so any kind of food or monetary donations would be greatly appreciated.

For anyone needing a food basket or if you know of anyone needing a food basket, forms are available at the Moorcroft Post Office, Diehl’s Supermarket, Moorcroft Pinnacle Bank and the Coffee Cup Fuel Stop-just fill out the form and place in the container.

There will be an Angel Tree this year- anyone wanting to help out and make an angel smile this Christmas can pick an angel off the tree at Diehl’s, Pinnacle Bank or Coffee Cup Fuel Stop. Please have the gifts back to Pinnacle Bank no later than Tuesday, December 15.

The Chamber will be putting the baskets together Friday, December 18 and any help would be greatly appreciated.

These baskets can be picked up at the K-8 School, December 19, between 9 and 11a.m. If you are not able to pick up your basket, please make arrangements as baskets not picked up by 11 will be dispersed between the other families.

There will be a box at Pinnacle Bank for anyone who wants to donate any non-perishable food for this worthwhile project. All food will be distributed in the baskets.

Please call Kathy at 307-756-9718 or 307-660-9718, Jodi Clark at 307-660-3312 with any questions.
