Santa a star in Pine Haven

Santa and his elves entertained fans in Pine Haven a little differently this season. Not to be out-maneuvered by Covid, the recreation board hosted “Drive by Santa” and the idea was a triumph with the 40 goody bags on hand delivered through windows and to youngsters arriving on foot before the day was done.

Councilwoman Kristi Speed, who hid her elf ears under her hat, said of the occasion, “I loved seeing the smiles on the kids’ faces and their surprised look when Santa asked if they had been good!”
