The American Legion Auxiliary #25 has announced the winners of their Americanism essay contest. The title of the essay was “How can we address the health and well-being of our veterans, military and their families?”
The essays were written by the third-grade classes at the Moorcroft Elementary. The winners, from left to right, are first place, Quinn Ruonavaara; second place, Jentri Waldrop; and third place, Nala Anderson. Quinn’s essay has been forwarded to the state competition.
Mrs. Baron-Kanode, Mrs. Curr, Mrs. Woolsey and Mr. Richards were instrumental in promoting this program.
