2021 Double Chip Seal

ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS

Sealed Bids for the construction of the 2021 Double Chip Seal (project) will be received by the Town of Pine Haven at Town Hall located at 24 Waters Drive, Pine Haven, WY 82721, until 2:00 PM local time on August 17, 2021 at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. The project includes approximately 7,000 SY of gravel road preparation and chip seal placement.

Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on firm unit price basis for the respective bid items as indicated in the Bid Form. Unit prices and estimated quantities are solely for the purpose of comparing bids.

A PDF of the Contract Documents may be obtained, for a non-refundable deposit of $20.00, from the Quest CDN website at http://www.hdrinc.com/WYbids. Bidders are required to be registered on the Quest CDN website to receive updates and addenda. Bidding Documents also may be examined at the following locations:

3. Regional Bid Centers

A pre-bid conference will be held at 2:00 PM local time on August 10, 2021 at the Town of Pine Haven Town Hall, 24 Waters Drive, Pine Haven, WY 82721. Bidders are encouraged to attend and participate in the conference.

A Bid bond shall be the only acceptable form of Bid security and shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. At time of executing the Contract Documents the Contractor shall provide Contract security (performance and payment bonds) in accordance with W.S. 15-1-113 and 16-6-112.

Pursuant to W.S. 16-6-106, “preference is hereby given to materials, supplies, agricultural products, equipment, machinery and provisions produced, manufactured or grown in Wyoming, or supplied by a resident of the state, quality being equal to articles offered by the competitors outside of the state.”

The Town of Pine Haven reserves the right to waive irregularities and to reject bids.
