The American Legion Auxiliary held its Department meetings in June. It was announced at this time that Kyanna Petz, a Junior at Moorcroft High School, had won first place for her Poppy Poster. Her poster went on to compete at the National Level.
Amasa Gerstner, a senior, won second place with her poster.
It was also announced that Quinn Ruonavaara, had won first place with her Americanism Essay. She is a student at Moorcroft Elementary. Her essay went on to compete at the National Level.
Congratulations to these three outstanding students and the teachers that encouraged them.
