Lady Wolves honor fallen soldiers at Conference

The #3 in the state MHS Lady Wolves fought in two tough conference games over the weekend, facing #2 Sundance and #4 Big Horn. Both matches went to five sets and the Wolves fell short with the scores of Sundance - 3 Moorcroft - 2 (25-23, 25-20, 25-14, 17-25, 15-8) and Big Horn - 3 Moorcroft - 2 (25-27, 25-18, 25-22, 21-25, 15-12).

These were our first conference games of the season. We are sitting 8-6 overall, but these two conference games were important to us. This will help us stay motivated to work on the little things in practice to continue to prepare for our future games. I am proud of our team's effort and focus, and I am looking forward to seeing these ladies work hard as we move forward.

Our team also honored the Afghanistan fallen soldiers with 13 volleyballs and flags displayed behind the team bench, saving them a spot in the stands. This is what I am especially proud of as a coach as we learn valuable life lessons as a team.
