December 6 - 12

On December 6, police were called for a lift assist. Officer was able to get the resident back into their wheelchair. Nothing further.

On December 6, police were called for a lift assist. Officer was able to help a resident who had fallen and was unable to get back up.

On December 7, police made an arrest on a resident who had a warrant for probation violation. Officer transported subject to the Crook County Detention Center without incident.

On December 7, police assisted someone who had locked their keys in their vehicle. Officer was able to gain entry to the vehicle for the owner.

On December 7, police assisted Moorcroft EMS on an emergency call.

On December 7, police were called to a possible Domestic Disturbance at Centennial Apartments. Officer contacted the residents of the apartment in question who admitted to yelling but nothing physical took place. Officer advised them of the complaint and cleared as nothing criminal had taken place.

On December 7, police were called to the Moorcroft K8 for a juvenile in possession of an electronic cigarette. Juvenile was issued a citation for Minor in Possession of Tobacco.

On December 10, police were notified of a residential burglar alarm. Officer arrived at the home and spoke with the owner who had accidently set off the alarm when opening the door. Officer cleared.

On December 11, while patrolling officer ran the plates on a vehicle that had been parked for over 14 days at the intersection of Powder River and Crook. Vehicle status returned as stolen out of Spearfish, South Dakota. Officer contacted Spearfish Police Department regarding their stolen vehicle, and it was towed.

Stats: One warrant arrest, one false alarm, seven crosswalk/school zones, 28 business checks, one traffic warning, one assist to other agency, one extra patrol, seven house watches, one domestic disturbance, one information report, one juvenile issue, two public services, one recovered stolen property, one vehicle unlock.
