Moorcroft golf off to a good start

On Friday, the Moorcroft Wolves Boys and Girls Golf Teams traveled to Upton for their first tournament of the year. It really was a good opportunity for the kids participating to get out and compete in a tournament. Due to weather, we haven't had as many practices as we would have liked.

In the boys division, Cade Williams led the Wolves by shooting a 97 for fifth place; Cole Stripp got ninth, with a score of 108; and Gus Robertson got 15th, with a score of 131.

On the girl's side, Camlyn Connally shot a 99, which was good for second place; and KyAnna Petz got third, with a score of 100.

The weather was good for the day and it was positive to be able to get on a course and compete. We have some things that we need to work on, but overall, the scores were good for the first tournament out. Both the Moorcroft Boy's and Girl's Golf Teams return to action on Friday, April 22, at the Powder Horn in Big Horn.
