Gnomes spotted in community garden

The winter dead has been cleared and paths mowed and maintained at the community gardens on South Little Horn Avenue immediately south of the Moorcroft Town Center by volunteers who refer to themselves as garden gnomes.

These industrious individuals were spotted Friday morning working diligently amidst the boxes that will bloom again this summer with a myriad of beautiful plants.

The gardening in the community lot is entirely pesticide free and no commercial bug or weed poisons are allowed in the box soil.

Of the 30 tall and four small or children’s boxes on site, 15 tall boxes are all that remains currently available for rent; anyone interested may call or drop by town hall for prices and location.
