The Town of Moorcroft with their Grinch-themed decorations were the business winners.
The Moorcroft Area Chamber of Commerce held their annual Christmas Light Contest along with the downtown pole decorating and parade of lights. We expanded the Christmas Light Contest this year to have two categories: residential and business.
Our judges drove around, gazed at all the pretty houses and business in the area and would like to recognize Mr. & Mrs. Hacklin for the residential winner. If you were lucky enough to drive by, you had to circle the block because they had decorated every side of the house and shop and Santa driving the skid steer pushed them to the top.

We should also mention Gifts, Thrifts and Ifs, which came in a close second, and Moorcroft Family Dentistry, a very close third!
For the downtown Christmas pole decorating we need to recognize Coffee Cup Fuel Stop and of course the winner of the light parade was Connally Mowing. We cannot wait until next year to see all the fun houses, businesses, poles and floats next holiday season!
With2022 coming to a close, the Moorcroft Area Chamber of Commerce would like to thank all those that support our various projects and events throughout the year and we look forward to bringing you a great 2023.
