Wolves place fourth at Dylan Humes Tournament

The seats were full and the applause was charged as the Wolves faced their opponents with courage and excitement at the 2023 Dylan Humes Tournament.

At this year's memorial mixer, hosted at home in Moorcroft, the Wolves boys' team finished fourth with 161 points, behind Thunder Basin with 304, Sheridan with 286 and Natrona County with 208.

A total of 23 teams competed in the event on January 20 and 21.

Dayne Humes was the champion in the 106 lb bracket.

Additional individual results included third place finishes for Braydnn Terry (126) and Oliver Gorsuch (220); fifth place for Chris Boardman (152) and James Long (170); and seventh place for Riley DeHaven (152), Kaden Haynes (120), Shane Hannah (120), Braizyn Humpal (160) and Wyatt Allred (182).

On the girls' side, Rebekah Anderson brought home the championship in the 115 lb bracket, placing first.

Kelly Walsh girls won with 116 points and three champions, with Sheridan placing third and Glenrock fourth.
