What's happening at the library

We are bringing back our Homecoming craft! Due to the popularity of this craft in 2023, we have added extra times along with reservation only spots.

Walk ins are welcome on Friday, October 4, 1-3 p.m., Monday, October 7, 4-7:30 p.m. and Friday, October 11, 1-3 p.m. Reservations are for up to five people for one hour.

These will be available Thursday, October 3, at 4 p.m. and the morning of Friday, October 4. Call us to book a spot today! 307-756-3232.

Bring a shirt, jeans, water bottle or other items to decorate for Spirit Week. We will have vinyl items, fabric markers, puff paint, etc. available. This year, we will also have blank t-shirts, headbands and bandanas available for purchase.

The library offers regular programs each month and we’d love for you to join us!

Adult Book Club is on the third Thursday of each month, at 1 p.m. A variety of books are chosen over the year and new attendees are always welcome to join us for snacks and discussion.

On October 17, we will be discussing Before She Was Helen, by Caroline B. Cooney.

Adult Paint Class – Kim Sumervold with Printwagon Paints will be leading this class on October 8. Participants will be painting a fun fall pumpkin on a 16x20 canvas. Contact us for pricing information and to make your reservation.

Adult Crafts – We are working on future events including a charcuterie class, engraved baking dishes and ugly sweater decorating.

Storytime is each Wednesday at 10 a.m. Join us for stories, snacks and the weekly activity or craft.

Afterschool Program is each Wednesday afternoon, 4 p.m.-5 p.m. All students in K-6th grade are invited to join us for a weekly activity or craft. Secondary students are welcome to join or utilize the time to complete homework.

Youth Paint Classes are one Friday per month and FREE of charge. This class is for ages 8+ and does require reservations

Beginner Paint Class for ages 5-7 is one Friday per month, reservations are required and limited to four youth per month to allow Miss Lacey to give each child more one on one instruction.

Transform your life with a library card! Sign up for a new card anytime in September to receive a treat and to be entered to win our grand prize. We will draw in October for one new Moorcroft Branch Library user to receive a prize basket.
