Vicki Kissack of Gillette Memorial Chapel places the Tree of Remembrance at the Moorcroft Branch Library for viewing. The tree was decorated during Sunday's remembrance ceremony for loved ones who cannot be with us. During the ceremony, people shared memories of their loved ones while having a candle lighting moment. Attendees brought an ornament that reminded them of their loved ones to hang on the tree so they are never forgotten.
This year's celebration of holiday cheer is starting on Friday, December 6 and going through Sunday, December 8. There are activities for all ages located in Moorcroft and the surrounding area.
On Friday, the Moorcroft Branch Library will be hosting an ugly sweater decorating class. Attendees will need to bring a sweater, jacket or a piece of clothing they would like to decorate.
