UW Extension to offer post-fire rangeland recovery program for Northeast Wyoming ranchers and land managers

For ranchers and other land managers affected by 2024 wildfires in northeast Wyoming, the Johnson Co. Office of University of Wyoming Extension will offer an educational rangeland management program in Buffalo on January 14, 2025.

The in-person meeting will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Twing Room of the Johnson County Public Library in Buffalo on Tuesday, January 14. UW Extension personnel and local, state and federal agency representatives will be present to share strategies for managing grazing and invasive weeds in the wake of the 2024 wildfires.
