Pine Haven Burn ban

The Pine Haven Council has officially approved a municipal burn ban. This ban includes fire rings, fire pits (propane fire pits are allowed), fireworks in town limits, burn barrels and personal slash piles.

All personal slash piles must be relocated to the appropriate burn pile owned and maintained by the town of Pine Haven, located south of the public works building near the water tower.

The town has been advised by the fire department to allow absolutely NO wood fires in the community “in any way, shape or form”, said Councilwoman Karla Brandenburg. “All the slash has to be moved to the town pile.” She also assures everyone who has purchased fire permits that they will receive refunds.

Fines for burning wood or shooting off fireworks were raised to $100 for a first offence and $200 for a second.

This ban is in effect within the town of Pine Haven as of June 9, 2021.
