Community supports first responders

The appreciation barbecue hosted by the Over the Hill Gang in Pine Haven was well attended by fire fighters, emergency medical personnel, law enforcement and veterans last Wednesday.

The Gang supplied and cooked up hamburgers, hotdogs and brats with a plethora of tasty sides provided by the nearly 60 community members who wanted to express their gratitude for the efforts of these first responders.

The hosts did not forget desert either – member Rich Wilkerson brought the makings for homemade ice cream to finish a delightful meal....
