At approximately 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Dianne Schuricht brought Emmett N. over to Noonan Park to play on the new slide set. To her dismay, someone had allowed their youngster to make a mess of the playground equipment including the slides and the merry-go-round with mud, so, "He can't even slide down the slide."

"We watched them build this and we were so 'Hurry up, get it done' and this is what we get," Schuricht said.

Police were also called and arrived to check the equipment and bathrooms over for other damage; public works will also be contacted to clean the play set and merry-go-round...
