Trell - At Thanksgiving dinner I would have turkey, ribs, fried beans, mashed potatoes and pumpkin pie for dessert. I would get my turkey from the store. It would weigh 60 pounds. I would cook it in a smoker for two hours with the seasoning that dad puts on the ribs and brisket. I am thankful for Thanksgiving. 

Stace - I would have turkey, chicken noodle soup and some Thanksgiving treats like cupcakes and cookies. I would get my turkey from the store. It would weigh 3 pounds. In the oven I would cook it for seven minutes at a hot temperature. I would put some salt on it. I am thankful for me cooking the turkey!

Opal - At Thanksgiving dinner I would cook and eat pizza, grilled cheese sandwiches, strawberry cake and turkey. My turkey would come from Walmart. The turkey would weigh 6 pounds. I would cook it in the oven at a kinda hot temperature for seven minutes. I would not season it. I am thankful for my mom and dad. 

Emilee - I’d have meat, but I don’t know what kind of meat I’m getting. I would have whip cream pie, Oreo ice cream, chocolate chip cake, purple grapes, red apples, tootsie rolls and lollipops, candy canes, crouton salad, some turkey, corn, chips, mashed potatoes and blueberries. I’d have some chocolate milk. I would get my turkey from the store. It costs $20 and would be 150 pounds. I would put the turkey in the freezer then in the microwave to cook it. It would cook for 100 minutes at 3000 degrees. I am thankful for cooking and getting food. 

Lexi - I would cook chocolate chip cupcakes, vanilla cookies, donuts and strawberry cake for Thanksgiving. I would not want any meat or vegetables at Thanksgiving dinner but I would have turkey. The turkey would come from the Dollar General store. It would weigh nine pounds. I would cook it in the oven for nine minutes at ten degrees. We would have lemonade to drink. I am thankful for celebrations. 

Kaleb - For Thanksgiving, I will have turkey and hunt it on our road because there is a lot of them. I would clean it and cook it. I would cook it in the oven at a hot temperature for ten minutes. I would have mashed potatoes, green salad and chocolate ice cream for dessert. I am thankful for my mom and my dad.

Mercer - For Thanksgiving dinner I would cook pumpkin cake, carrots, milk, oranges, lemons and meatloaf. I would also have turkey from the store that I cook in an oven. It would cook for 15 minutes on hot. I’d put some hot, spicy seasoning on it. I am thankful for the stuff I got.

Felicity - I would make donuts for Thanksgiving! At dinner I would make pizza. No vegetables, no fruit and we would drink water. We would also have ham, turkey and strawberries. I would get the turkey from Diehl’s store. The turkey would weigh one pound. I’d cook it in the oven at 325 degrees for one minute with potatoes. I am thankful for my heart.

Haizlee - At Thanksgiving I will have corn, spaghetti, ramen noodles, cinnamon rolls and turkey. The turkey would come from the Conoco store. I would cook it in a pan with the corn on the stove. It would cook for ten minutes at a temperature of 20. I know it’s done when it beeps. I am thankful for making my family happy. 

Nella - I would have chocolate cookies, turkey, watermelon, strawberries and grapes. I would get my turkey from Walmart. It would weigh eight pounds. I would cook it in the microwave for two minutes at the temperature of three. I am thankful for my mom.

Monroe - At Thanksgiving I would have chocolate chip ice cream, turkey, cheese sandwiches and strawberry cookies. The turkey would be 71 pounds and come from the Dollar General store. I would cook it in the microwave on hot for two seconds with salt. I am thankful for my friends.

Azlynn - For Thanksgiving dinner I would cook chocolate cookies, tomato soup, green salad, brown meat and turkey. I would hunt the turkey at home with a gun then I would bake and cook it. The ten-pound turkey would cook for nine minutes in the oven on hot. I would put salt on it. I am thankful for waiting patiently.

Joslyn - I would have chicken, turkey, snicker salad, French fries, beans and candy pumpkins. My turkey would come from McDonalds and I would cook it. I’d cook it in the house, in the kitchen on the stove. It would cook for ten seconds at the temperature of 11. I would not season it. I am thankful for the turkey. 

Gary - At Thanksgiving dinner I would have turkey, mashed potatoes, chocolate cake, carrots and strawberries. I would get my two-pound turkey at Peggy’s house and take it home. I’d cook it in the oven for three minutes at medium temperature. I’d season it with salt. I’m thankful for having a family.

Ms. Brown’s Kindergarten Class

Question: What would you make for Thanksgiving dinner?

Esko - My dad goes hunting to get a deer or an elk. If he doesn’t get anything we will have turkey. You will cut the turkey this big but if it is elk you have to skin it and then cut it. We will put that stuff on it to make it taste good...I don’t know what it is called. It’s powder and makes it better. You cook it for 30 or 20 minutes. We will have whatever dad likes.

Laylee - I think we will have turkey. You get it from the store, Diehl’s. I would put it in the oven. I am not sure how long to cook it. I guess maybe for 10 seconds. You have to let it cool down first though. We will eat the turkey whole…I don’t want it cut. I want to have jello with it but just normal jello though.

Rori - We will have mashed potatoes. Those are good! We are also going to have meat. I think it will be turkey. I will cook it in the oven for 20 minutes. Then, it will have to be cut up. We will have carrots and pie with it.

Kylie - I want to cook turkey. I will put salt on it and then it has to go in the oven. I will keep it there for ten minutes. I love mashed potatoes! We will have to make those and I want a big bowl! We are also going to have macaroni and cheese and pizza.

Blaze - I will cook Thanksgiving turkey. You can get the turkey from Grandma’s farm. I will put sugar and salt on the turkey. It cooks in the oven for 5 seconds. I will have cookies and lollipops with the turkey.

Archer - We will have gingerbread and Thanksgiving turkey. I would put salt on the turkey. It will go in the oven for six hours. I want to have frosting and cupcakes too.

Ava - I will get chicken from Dollar General to make. I will put it in the oven to cook...for maybe a minute and then have it for dinner. We will have salad and pie. I want to have ice cream for dessert too.

Chloe - I am going to make turkey for my family. I can get it from my cousin. You put sugar on it before putting it into the oven. It will cook for 5 minutes and then you put it on the table. We will have cookies and ice cream with it.

Claire - We will have chicken with cookies on it. You put on a pan and it goes in the oven for two minutes. I will get the chicken from Wendy’s. We will have fries and chicken nuggets with it. For dessert we will have cookies and ice cream.

Tana - I would make turkey. I would pick it up at Diehl’s and put salt and pepper on it. You put it in the oven until 10:30. We will have cookies and ice cream...and maybe some broccoli.

Auden - I am going to cook turkey. We put salt and pepper on it. We don’t have an oven so we will cook it in the air fryer for five minutes. I want mashed potatoes, veggies and candy. But my mom would need to help me.

Kaysen - We could have chicken with pepper and salt on it. It goes in the oven to get warm. I would leave it in there for 30 seconds. I would make eggs, ramen noodles and pudding.

Paden - I am going to have pizza. You put it in the oven without touching the pan. It will hurt if you do. It is in the oven for 15 minutes. We can cook turkey too. That has to be in the oven for 30 minutes. Then there will be a bowl of candy in the middle of the table.

Kordell - I want a gingerbread man and apples. We can cook chicken too. You get it out of the freezer and put it on the grill. I would put cinnamon on. It is on the grill for ten minutes.

Kyle - I will cook turkey for dinner. We get it at Walmart. We add sugar and salt to the turkey. It goes in the oven for 20 minutes and then you get it out. I will have jelly and salad with it. Then ice cream cones and cookies.

Waylon - We are going to have turkey with pizza on top. It goes in the oven to cook for 100 minutes. We love ramen noodles, so we might have that too. I also think we will have celery and chili. Oh, and maybe cake!

Question: What do you want to do with your family on Thanksgiving?

Esko - We are going to Michigan.

Laylee - We can play games.

Rori - Sometimes, I think, we go on walks.

Kylie - We are going to go to Devils Tower and walk. We will eat the dinner there. We are going to climb Devils Tower.

Blaze - I want to have a pinata that looks like a turkey that has a bunch of candy inside. Then play Thanksgiving games and activities in my bedroom.

Archer - We will go swimming and maybe get candy and apple cider.

Ava - I want to go camping and play board games.

Chloe - I want to go swimming.

Claire - We could go to the rec. center and maybe stay at the hotel.

Tana - We will go swimming in Grandma’s pond and go on a walk to the park.

Auden - We can have a fire and roast marshmallows.

Kaysen - We will play games together.

Paden - We are just going to sit at home and eat.

Kordell - We will drive snowmobiles.

Kyle - We will go to the rec center and maybe the park too.

Waylon - We can go out to eat. Then maybe to the rec center to swim.
