Call first

Crook County Fire would like to remind everyone that ALL controlled burns MUST be called into the sheriff’s office at 307-283-1225.

Fire season is in full swing and with no prior notification regarding these controlled fires, the volunteers react to the call as if going to a wild burn. This wastes valuable time and tools needed for an actual fire.

The volunteers who put their welfare on the line for their neighbors during these dry seasons want everyone to enjoy a safe and fun summer.
